question: when you give your guy friends a peck on the cheek dahil binabati nyo sila ng hello or goodbye, yung hands nyo ba nilalagay nyo pa sa shoulder ng kaibigan nyo? do you kiss your guy friends like that (see photo)????

if you will notice, yung hands ni K, may diin pa kasi yung buto nya sa kamay bumabakat. so ibig sabihin may force pa talaga.

and if in the end, this is all publicity for their movie, well they should all go to hell. promotion for the film in exchange for the stability of a married couple's relationship and their family? not to mention the public's concern for the wife? you have got to be kidding.

not a lot of you know that chris and i are also chismis buddies. last night, we watched all the MP+J+K brouhaha videos. Pati interviews ni Mommy Dionisia binasa pa namin. sabay kaming natatawa sa mga comments ng iba sa mga websites. as in may discussion at palitan pa kami ng kuro-kuro hehe. pagdating sa office, we send each other links kung may bagong update sa mga websites na binibisita namin. wala lang, kababawan namin. :)

just recently saw manny pacquiao (mp)'s interview with dianne castillejo and some things he said: "just be happy for my achievements...iwasan ang crab mentality...para maging masaya na lang tayong lahat...." sort of like that.

normally, hindi ko papatulan itong issue na ito. first time ko yatang mag-comment about a celebrity na may controversy. pero bilang blogger (at tinatamad ako ngayong mag-work hehe), i have the urge to write what i think. walang personalan, magpapaka-jologs lang. seriously, gusto ko lang i-unload ang mga naiisip habang pinapanood ang interview nya.

on being happy about his achievements: yes, manny we are very happy for your achievements. we are very proud of you. you are one of the greatest boxers ever and we always pray for you whenever you have a game. that's how much we love you---imagine, ang daming pilipino na nagdadasal para sayo. in terms of being a boxer and a filipino, proud kami sayo. walang makakapagbago doon.

on focusing on your private life: are serious???? in case you haven't FULLY realized yet, you are a public figure. of course people would want to know what's going on in your private life...on why your wife was crying and not wanting you to touch her/hug her during your thanksgiving mass and "peace be with you." being famous comes with a price (this is one thing i don't get with celebrities asking for privacy--eh celebrity nga sila eh).

and being one of the greatest boxers turned celebrity makes you A ROLE MODEL. people look up to you. children idolize you. YOU HAVE A SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY--YOU ARE CONSIDERED A HERO for goodness' sake. i really hope that means something to you because it does mean a lot to every Filipino.

on crab mentality: no one is pulling you down but you and your cheating escapades. the negative news about you only started when people saw you and K together all the time (which allegedly started in june 2009). everytime you win, the filipinos are very happy for you, they cheer for you...no one wants the best for you in whatever you do but the filipinos BECAUSE YOU REPRESENT US.

on his cheating ways: i salute jinkee for being the woman, wife and mother that she is. it takes a lot of strength to go thru married life with a philandering husband, what more when your husband is public figure? no marriage is perfect and it always takes two to tango (in any marital situation, kadalasan fault ng BOTH husband and wife). i wish they would both settle things amiable...and i hope that in doing so, it will lessen the pain for both of them. i hope MP finds the light and mend his ways (i'm not even referring to this recent girl---i'm referring to his ex-kabits). i hope they find the strength to work out their differences and forgive each other especially when they know that their marriage is worth it.

i think the reason a lot of people are writing about it, reporting about it, is because most are really concerned for him. i would like to look beyond the controversy and instead read between the lines of what people are saying/writing about this issue. the filipinos love MP for what he has done for the country and what he can still do in the future but filipinos are also concerned about family and family values.

Friday is....

...pre-launching day. today we will have a pre-launch of our new training program. i'm soooo excited. :) yesterday we were able to upload and see the two modules' manuals on our intranet--felt soooo good. :) for today's pre-launch, guess who's incharge of the food??--me! hehe. basta pagkain parating assigned sa akin---lapitin talaga ako ng pagkain hehe.

...Astroboy day. tonight, Husby and i will finally watch Astro soar up high in the sky. :)

I just want to say a big "THANKS!" to my online buddy Leona

...for that unexpected call that brightened my Friday.

If my memory serves me right, she's the first online buddy I have from overseas that called me on the phone just to say hi. I'm so touched.

Some bloggers take note of their blog's traffic, the comments on their blog page, the number of the page rank, the tags and awards their blog receive, and all other stats you can find online.

But for me, the truest measure of being a blogger is finding true friendships online...online buddies that turn into real-life friends, whether near or far.

I may not have that much traffic or that many readers or commentors...but I sure have become good friends with many of my online buddies in the blogosphere. For me, that has made my life (not just my bloglife) more meaningful.

:: he is the head of the family and the president of our household (kaya minsan, friends would hear me say "wait lang, tanong ko lang sa bossing.") so it is important that he has approval on everything we decide on. however, teamwork is very important for us in every situation so in every decision made, we work on the pros and cons if it's hard to agree. there are also times when we know that one is more knowledgeable in a certain area, so we let that one decide for both.
